For over 40 years, the Roche family has been welcoming you to the Lou Rouchetou campsite, set in unspoilt natural surroundings on the banks of the Chassezac river. Handed down from generation to generation, this family-run campsite in the Ardèche cultivates a spirit of conviviality, authenticity and simplicity, to offer you a peaceful stay, far from the hustle and bustle of the big tourist complexes.

Set in 5 hectares of wooded grounds, the Lou Rouchetou campsite offers direct access to the Chassezac river, enabling our guests to take full advantage of the pleasures of the water: swimming, fishing or simply relaxing on our private beach. The nearby Bois de Païolive and Gorges du Chassezac offer numerous opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities.
Our 85 spacious, shaded pitches are designed to accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes, offering everyone the space and comfort they need for a pleasant stay. For those looking for more comfort, we also offer 29 fully-equipped mobile homes, suitable for families and groups of friends.
When you stay with us, you’ll enjoy unspoilt nature and a peaceful environment, ideal for rejuvenation. In the mornings, you’ll wake to the sound of birdsong, while evenings are lulled by the murmur of the river. This green setting is also a haven for numerous species of flora and fauna, which you can observe in complete tranquillity. Whether you’re looking for rest or adventure, the campsite’s natural setting promises an authentic and soothing stay.

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Lou Rouchetou campsite offers a full range of services: a grocery store for your daily shopping, with a bread depot, a bar-restaurant serving regional dishes, a launderette, several children’s play areas, and a Wi-Fi connection covering the entire site. What’s more, our aquatic area with swimming pool and paddling pool will delight young and old alike.
In high season, we organize a dance or karaoke night every Monday, 2 pétanque competitions a week, as well as Pilate and aquagym classes. Our aim is to create a warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
We also provide practical equipment and a loan service (rackets, books, board games, balls, petanque balls), as well as tourist information at reception to guide you to the best local sights. For families with young children, nursery equipment can be hired on request. Thanks to this range of services designed for everyone, the campsite guarantees optimum comfort at every stage of your stay.
